Introduction of our school
In the year 1955 a few visionaries came together with a unified objective of providing quality education to the underprivileged community. From very humble beginnings, SIO’s Vani Vidyalaya grew from a primary school established in 1956 to the present day modern and well-equipped school which is the source of our pride and honour. Today the school accommodates four sections of Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, and Jr. College with a student strength that increases by leaps and bounds. The growth legacy of our visionary founder members continues to inspire and motivate us. We take immense pride in the progress and development of our institution and eagerly await the realization of future projects which includes a full-fledged degree college, coming up in the future.
In keeping with the changing trends in pedagogy we provide a unique blend of teaching-learning methodologies, inclusive of both conventional and digital techniques , also enabling skill-based learning prospects, viz. Robotics, Information Technology, and Sports. The newly developed and advanced school houses, many progressive facilities like a modernized library, up-to-date laboratories, innovative knowledge centers and a newly developed sports turf to challenge the intellectual, creative and athletic abilities of each child , thereby ensuring an all-round development of our students.

ALUMNI
"Alumni – Bridging the school's legacy and future."
We are proud to introduce Vani Vidyalaya Alumni (VVA), established on October 31, 1987, under the guidance of Shri C. B. Arunachalam.
The association aims to connect alumni with their alma mater by supporting the institution, helping current students, and contributing to the community.
Over the years, VVA has made notable contributions, including the visit of former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and the school's redevelopment initiatives in 2015.
VVA was officially registered in 2021 with strong support from SIO Management. The association values the contributions of all alumni and wishes renewed efforts in future.

Greetings to all I am Das Konar, the proud father of Soumit Konar, who is currently studying in the 3rd standard, and Sainaveen Konar, who is in the 7th standard at the esteemed Vani Vidyalaya.With over 25 years of experience in the field of education, I have often been asked which board I chose for my children and why I opted for the SSC board. My answer is simple: my loyalty lies with Vani Vidyalaya. I enrolled my children here primarily because of my long-standing connection with the school over the past eight years and the consistently strong culture that has defined it. For me, it is not about choosing a board, but about choosing a school that stays true to its values. Regardless of the board under which Vani Vidyalaya operates in the future, my support for the school will remain steadfast
The reason why I chose Vani Vidyalaya for my ward is because of the environment present there. The teachers of Vani Vidyalaya are very kind hearted and friendly. They have always guided my child when needed. The school provides good facilities. They give chance to each and every child to bloom. They have never left my child alone in difficulty. They have been the most important part in life of my child to let my child grow mentally and physically.
Joining Vani Vidyalaya's family was a dream come true for me, for my son Vedant. I am an alumnus of Vani Vidyalaya and so was keen on getting Vedant into Vani Vidyalaya .You can say my blind trust. Today Vedant is like a shining star with loads of achievements and a bright future ahead and all this has become a reality now than just a dream, with which we started. All the credit goes to Vedant's teachers right from primary section to secondary section, head mistress and our very own Principal, you name it ,and they have it. And it's all evident in how Vedant has grown, Vedant has made us proud ,but we know the dedication and hard work behind. Principal sir, we thank you and your team from the bottom of our hearts for making Vedant what is he now - a promising personality that is the sheer dedication of our own Vani Vidyalaya.
I opted Vani for my son as my husband had completed XI & XII commerce in Vani Vidyalaya. The school was disciplined and reputed . Teachers are supportive and helpful . My son was always encouraged to participate in various activities . He got platform to appear for various exams like Ipm, Brain development. Principal sir personally takes initiative for encouraging kids .
My son, Krishna Bhagat, studied in Vani Vidyalaya from Class V. The school has given my son excellent education along with values. The co-operation and valuable guidance given by the teachers helped my son to stand first in school in the SSC March 2024 examination. I am extremely grateful to the teachers and the school for the high quality education provided to the students. He incorporates the lessons and values learnt at school in his daily life.
My daughter joined the school in Grade 5 as a shy and quiet child, and over the years, I’ve seen her grow into a confident and responsible young girl. The school provided not just academic excellence but also strong moral values and all-around development. The teachers were supportive and nurturing throughout her journey. I am truly grateful to the school for shaping her into who she is today. It has been a second home for both of us.
As parents , we are so proud of our daughter’s achievement in the SSC Board exam 2024-2025 .It is a testament to her hard work, dedication and resilience.But the journey to achieve the success would not be easy without the hard work and unwavering support they have received from the school ,the Principal Shri T .K Venkatachalam ,AHM Swati mam, the supervisors and the team of efficient teachers.
